  • At first I thought this place was great. I've been a customer there for over a year and never had any serious issues to complain about. The gym was close to home and only $10 a month. But after a while you see all the cracks in the veneer, like it always smells bad, is always crowded, they play the worst music, and a good portion of the equipment is broken or missing pieces. But, hey, it's only $10 a month. You get what you pay for. Then something really bad happens, and their staff and policies are completely useless and unethical. Like, the card you use to make payments gets compromised (as in, someone across the country somehow got a hold of your card number and have been trying to buy stuff, so the bank freezes it). This happened to me. I immediately went to the gym as soon as I learned of the issue and informed them. They told me to update it as soon as possible, make a cash payment for the time being, and that they'd put a note on my account so that I wouldn't be charged a late fee. I did all of the things they asked. they even put a note on my account about the situation, and they still charged me the late fee! How shitty can a company be? Well, EOS shitty, which is a whole new level of shitty. I have talked to these people nine times about getting money back. The first three times they kept saying I wouldn't get charged. The next six times has been them saying I would get a refund. Still no refund. At this point I'm cancelling my membership, and they can charge me the stupid $15. They would have made so much more money off me in the long run. Everyone at the front counter is completely incompetent and useless when confronted with something more than scanning a barcode. Hannah, Michael, and Kaitlynn have the worst customer service I've ever seen. Their only value in life is scanning a barcode. The manager, Renee, would not return my phone calls. When I did finally talk to her on the phone, she was completely apathetic about my situation. This company does not care about their members. When something unfortunate and out of my control happened to me, they did not do the right thing and take care of the situation. Instead, they kicked me when I was down and have been lying and dragging it out. Do not go here! It may seem like a good deal, but it's not.
