  • Rainy day touring Montreal. I ducked in to find a gorgeous yellow wall handpainted with tropical flowers and a cafe/coffee shop with great sandwiches, soups, and pastries. I had a prosciutto/grilled vegetable sandwich so big I couldn't finish it. I managed to find room for a lovely chocolate almond pastry which the friendly counter person offered to heat for me. This is located along the waterfront in Old Port and easy to miss. Watch for the sidewalk sandwich board. It's small but there's some bar-style seating including an area with some power outlets.
