Tina B,
In response to your comment, I stated
In the third sentence of my updated review
that a resolution had been reached and
all carpet was being replaced on May 22nd.
But please don't insinuate I was given a
choice in the matter unless you believe
putting cheap laminate in my home that
matches nothing or paying Empire more
money to fix their mistake is a choice. This
was an installation problem from the beginning, it is nothing I did wrong.
I now have to move everything in my house
and empty all closets to prepare for the installation of the carpet AGAIN!! I also have
to miss another day of work to be there for the installation of the carpet AGAIN!! My
issue in the last review was and is the fact
that this could have been less of a hassle for everybody if Empire had just put down
laminate that matched in my home without wanting to charge me
more money for their mistake! My husband
and I agreed to let Empire put laminate
down even though it would be a downgrade
from the hardwood floor we have in the entire downstairs of our home to keep from
going through the hassle of the carpet installation AGAIN! We are mourning the
loss of a child and trying to deal with this
has been a nightmare for us!!!
