Went after work to try this place out for the first time today. They were able to get me in right away, which is always nice. I picked out my color and then my nail tech took me back to the pedicure bowl. It was clean and had a liner. The massage chair worked and was very relaxing. The pedicure itself was sub par. The tech massaged my legs for a good amount of time, but she had a very light touch so it wasn't much of a massage. The massage is my favorite part of getting a pedicure so this was disappointing. The main thing that bothered me (and is the reason for my three stars) was the polish job I received. The tech applied the polish too thick and it smudged. Thankfully I was still in the salon when this happened. She saw me trying to fix my toenails that got messed up and I showed her, so she took me back to the chair to fix them. 3 nails got messed up including one of my big toes. She removed the polish and redid the smaller ones but acted annoyed when I showed her the big toe and made a noise like she was mad. So she just quickly put some glitter over the top of it to try and disguise the part that got ruined. I then asked her to put some more glitter on the other big toe because the one she "redid" had way more. This also annoyed her and she quickly slopped some more glitter polish on and didn't go all the way to the cuticle, resulting in an unfinished and non professional job. As she was doing this the front desk girl was screaming her name across the salon. Not professional. I felt rushed and that's not okay. I inspected the work when I went to pick up my daughter and was not happy at all. I had to go home and redo them myself, and that's unacceptable when I paid almost $50 for a pedicure. Not cool, Scottsdale Nails. I won't be back.
