  • I had a delicious vegetable lasagna at this restaurant last night. I was with a group of about twelve. I also had a couple of beverages. When it was time to pay, I used a crisp $100.00 bill. My server, who had been very pleasant, knew what bill I was paying with asked if I needed change. I replied were you expecting an almost $80.00 tip? When he left, my friends told me the tip was INCLUDED with the tab because we were a large party. Once they informed me of this, I could not believe that my server had the audacity to try and SWINDLE me out of more money by using deceptive tactics that would lead a customer to assume that the tip was not included. I am wondering if this deception is restaurant policy or just one server trying to make big bucks off of unsuspecting customers. I for one will not return to this restaurant because I do not approve of doing business dishonestly and I will be spreading the word.
