  • I'm not a vinyl person, but a close friend who comes to see me every few months is and when she asked me about the LP scene here in the Big Smoke I immediately thought of here. Formerly on Queen West, it was a block away from my apartment, so I had seen it many a time and gone in exactly zero times. Turns out (get it? That was bad, I know ) it is everything you'd want in a record store and more. The selection is incredible, and the condition of the product is amazing. This is not your old lord store with jackets falling apart and scratches on the actual vinyl, everything here is top notch. They have a great selection, knowledgeable staff and new music that is at this point, actually more difficult to find on CD! Prices are a bit high, but I feel that's more because it's vinyl then particular to this store. New location is just as cool, and they have a big bench sofa in the front for those who are not shopping to sit and relax. They also carry VICE magazine which is of course FREE. Ideal if your cell phone battery is dying. Go take it for a spin! Ok, I'm pun here. Scratch that! (Walks away, hangs head from shameless punning)
