  • Was weary because of the low ratings, but was literally around the corner from Soho Metropolitan. Close by, and open late until midnight. Busier and nosier mix of tables/booths closer to the bar, doors open so you can get fresh air while you eat, but still technically indoors. Closer to the register are more booths and tables that are usually empty and therefore more quiet. Some large TVs there as well -- tonight happened to have a reel of Donny and Mark Wahlburg, and some of their family. We did takeout a couple times, and service was always so fast. Both nights we waited 10 minutes. Plenty of condiments, utensils, napkins to help yourself to. Beats having to ask someone to give you adequate amounts of those things. Guy manning the register was friendly when taking our order and patient when I got confused with their current menu versus the online one Most of the food was really good : Our Burger- This comes with Wahl sauce? Not sure what that is, but all I saw was melted cheese. There was no other discernible taste of said sauce. It suited me because I like a basic standard burger without any fancy dressings or sauces to gussy it up.This was a great burger, always hit the spot. Patty not too thin, not too thick, and was the proper ratio with the toppings/bun. It's not a large burger/patty, definitely not the size of a diner or Chili's burger. Hot dog- Couldn't really mess this up. They gave the tiniest ramekin of sauerkraut. Grilled cheese with tomato and bacon - lots of cheese, gooey, and buttery bite. Had chopped up bacon pieces rather than strips inside. Chicken fingers - Doubt these were made in house, but three very large flat strips of chicken without thick breading so it was mostly chicken and thus very filling. Crispy haddock sandwich - crispy as stated, not soggy or greasy, but barely any flavor because they were either too stingy with the sauce or the sauce had no actual flavor. Hard to tell because there was so little of it. Tator tots - Always crispy on the outside. Perfect crunch, but then soft inside. Yukon Gold fries -- day to day, the size of the fries varied. Once they were thinner, the next day fatter, but wider. The latter seemed fresher and crisper, whereas the previous batch was darker, as if they used old oil. Have a small selection of cupcakes by the register. Honestly, one of the best cupcakes I've ever had and they only had one chocolate left the first night. Chocolate frosting was buttery and rich yet light and whipped in texture. Super moist cake. I wasn't able to get it again after since they seem to buy more vanilla based flavors and in small numbers, like 3 per flavor.
