  • Saw the Rooster sign for this place as I was walking down Spadina so I decided to check it out - the food was great! I had the half chicken and two sides (fries - excellent, like McDonald's but not greasy and the corn bread which was awesome) - this came up to $20.00 so it is an average priced lunch for the area. I say the people complaining about price just need to be more creative and figure out how you can stretch your dollar. The service was so-so, I didn't really notice, so I guess it wasn't that bad - we chose to do take out. The food did take about 15 minutes even if we were there at 11:30. My co-workers have gone since and loved the food. I had a piece of the grilled cheese-chicken sandwich and that was amazing. I will try this again when I return.
