Stopped by the Larry H. Miller Chrysler Jeep dealership at Avondale AZ this afternoon to take a look at jeep wranglers. It's my wife's birthday and she and I are in the market for an off road vehicle and jeep is on our radar.
We were greeted by Devon or Devin in sales who talked with us about the Jeep wrangler sport and unlimited models. First thing i said to him was that we were not buying that day and i repeated that statement several times. Also let him know several times that we were also going to look at Subaru as well. Test drove two vehicles and we were pleased but let Devin know that we were still going to look at Subaru.
Then he brought in his manager, a guy named Gino who identified himself as the sales manager. He asked how long we had been in the market, I told him since February and that we were going to look at Subaru as well and had looked at other brands previous to jeep. He then wrote down on the deal form FREE + FEES and asked me if I would buy the vehicle under those terms. I chuckled and said "Gino, c'mon no one would sell a car for free." He replied with "why not?" And I said "you know what, we are leaving. Your tactic is insulting"
He was rude, and condescending. With that kind of treatment of potential customers, I will certainly NOT be coverted into an ACTUAL buyer at your business. I will certainly be taking my business elsewhere and will recommend to anyone that they not purchase a vehicle from your dealerships.
