We have stayed here once a year for the last three years. We always think about staying somewhere else, but end up here. Two things I like about the Vdara, that may be a reason why some wouldn't want to stay here. One: No smoking. I don't smoke. With so much smoke everywhere in Vegas it's nice to come back to the hotel away from it. Two: no casino. I'm not a huge gambler. I like coming back after a night out and it's an easy trip up to my room. Now if one you smoke or two you are an avid gambler, this may be a disappointment to you.
Upon driving up to the hotel, the gentleman out front begin the awesome service that the Vdara offers. The bellman start by helping you unload your car to be brought to your room when you are ready. The valet then takes your car and you are set for check in. The wait to check in is not long. After a long drive it's nice for such a simple process of getting up to your room.
The rooms themselves are beautiful with wonderful views. We have been lucky enough to have views of the Bellagio fountains. All rooms are suites. The room this year that we had was the executive sweet. We had a living room, full kitchen with dining area, one and a half baths and a separate bedroom. Don't forget the in room washer and dryer. It was basically a small apartment.
Also the fitness center is very nice. My husband enjoys the spa area after a night of drinking. I usually enjoy either one of their facials or massages. Both well worth the money.
It is a short walk to the Aria and the Cosmopolitan for your gambling needs.
Most likely we will stay here again next year.... Just can't beat it.
