  • The Valley of the Sun is home to the City of Phoenix and a relatively small downtown area for a city of it's size. Only a few skyscrapers dot the skyline of this major city. The downtown area is home to 2 of the areas 4 professional sports teams (Diamondbacks and Suns). If you're coming in from out of town and will be in Downtown Phoenix make sure you check out the Cityscape area which is the entertainment hub for the city. Otherwise, look to travel east to Tempe or North to Scottsdale for more activity.
