  • I took a group of 7 people here for a lunch meeting and as usual, the service and the menu was spot on. I ordered my favorite item, the oatmeal pancakes, which are nutty, fluffy and have a hint of sweetness. Like other reviewers, I just love those pancakes so much I can't seem to order anything else! The bottomless and pretty good drip coffee is a perfect touch that fits in the diner ambiance. Others in the group ordered the veggie omelet, banana chocolate chip pancakes, eggs Benedict, the German potato pancakes, and a variety of other pancakes. The potato pancakes are delicious, with a hint of sweetness, touch of salt, and the requisite apple sauce/sour cream as an accent. I "helped" a friend eat these- they were very, very tasty. Good as those were, the regular pancakes are still the star of the meal. Everyone left full and satisfied, even on a very busy Friday at lunch. Challenging parking was a common gripe- make sure you bring change for the meters or else plan to walk quite a few blocks. I'll be back, and you can bet I'm ordering the pancakes again!
