| - I am a Mom of two young girls 2 and 3 years old. Recently my husband took our Lexus in for an oil change when the mechanics talked him into getting his coolant changed, which isn't cheap. But wanting to keep his girls safe he went ahead and did it. No kidding the very next day, never having any problems with our car before, started smoking on the way back home from the store. I literally drove it only a couple of miles. We took it back to Jiffy lube because it had to be related. It was just the day before. They took a look at it and told us the radiator was cracked and needed to be replaced. We would have to have it towed. So let's see, just had the coolant changed and now the radiator is cracked? Things that make you go hmmm? So off to the shop where we paid $700 hundred dollars to have it replaced. So our oil change, which turned into a coolant change, which turned into a cracked radiator, and then to a new radiator, turned our out of pocket expense of more then a $1000 dollars. So my husband called jiffy lube because surely they would refund the money for the coolant change right? Wrong, instead they accused this Mom of 2 young children of being responsible for the cracked radiator!!!! That some how on my 2 mile loop with my kids I decided to go off road into the desert for an adventure ride. Give me a break. Then they said maybe it was due to everyday wear and tear. I am sorry, excuse me, your mechanics, you didn't notice this wear and tear the day before when you were changing the coolant? It's just ludicrous!!! So here I am taking time away from my girls to write this review. Did I I mention I am a stay at home Mom. Plus all the other hours I will be spending on social media sites until our money is refunded. So instead of the $300 I know you should have refunded us, I think you should pay for the $700 dollars we spent on a new radiator plus the time I have spent writing this review you now owe us $1100 dollars. And it will continue to add up as I spend more time away from my kids to take you to small claims court. By the time we get to court I think we will have reached the max the court allows of $5000 dollars. So jiffy lupe, do the right thing. Contact me and correct this situation. I am not a bad person just a mad person who deserves her money back!!!! Now on to the next social media site. I will be waiting for your call. Also I will be sending this to your corporate office. But if you refund us I promise to correct this review. It's the right thing to do.
