  • this is a nice surprise as a midway point between Atlanta and Central VA. keep in mind there's road construction so it's tough to see the entrance. very impressive overall. the joint is nothing much to look out from the outside, but the suites are appointed very well. the full kitchen had a freezer and an ice maker, which is great for travelers who want to keep things cool. the bed and the linens were actually above average on the comfort scale, and the dog was quite happy. the $75 pet fee is pretty outrageous IMHO, since other hotels of comparable scale are either free or at $25. Hilton should reassess that policy. otherwise, I'd highly recommend this place as a good stop just off I-85.
