  • During a trip to Vegas about a year ago, my friends and I couldn't decide on where to go. I tried to o to Poetry first but didn't want to wait in line so we walked a little more to PURE. The cover was ridiculous but a friend was able to get our whole group in without waiting in line for cheaper than what the cover was for the night (at least the amount that we heard it was from those who were standing in line). It is very easy to get lost in PURE and the crowds are HORRIBLE. Walking on the tile floor was absolutely disgusting. The young (yet very tragic and trashy) crowd was definitely hanging out inside while the a good amount of the creepy older crowd were hanging out in the upstairs outdoor terrace overlooking the strip (and the outdoor terrace was pretty much the only highlight of the nightclub). Nick Cannon was spinning that night and my friends and I all agreed that Mr. Mariah Carey definitely could not spin if his life depended on it. Each time someone makes suggestions on nightclubs to hit up in Vegas, this is the first nightclub I tell people NOT to go to. Instead, I'd recommend The Bank or XS.
