| - A couple years ago, right after I moved to Cleveland, my pet rat became very ill. I rushed him to Dr. Hart's, as it was after midnight and Captain Jack needed help right away. At first they seemed caring, then I realized they were only concerned about getting paid. I can understand the doctor deserves payment for her services, but that's really all they talked about. How I'd be paying, what I could afford, etc. After an antibiotic shot, and a bubble of fluids, we were sent home. Captain Jack improved greatly overnight, and the vet had us return 3 times for subsequent antibiotic shots. She wound up overdosing Captain Jack, his back legs became paralyzed, he started having seizures and he died not a week later. This vet killed my Captain Jack, and charged me $175. I will NEVER take an animal there again, and recommend no one else does either.
