This place is 3-star ok. The tofu and tempura dishes were very tasty. The vegi sushi and cucumber sushi were a bit on the bland and dry side. Also I know cream cheese was optional. I recommend you skip it. It throws the taste all off.
Service was ok too. Someone is coaching/directing the staff on what they need to do. Perhaps there is a checklist in the back reminding them. However the execution was distracting. To the staff, here are a few tips:
DON'T put the dirty dishes from the next table on my table while you fill up my water glass.
DON'T take my empty plate away a mere .5 seconds after I grabbed the food from it. Give me time to put the food in my mouth, chew, swallow, and savor the experience of eating it for another minute before you take my plate away.
Overall I would consider coming back, but for the moderate prices, there's a lot more places to choose from.
