Friends is definitely a cute little coffee shop. It seems like more of a place for locals of the community, since you'd have to go a little out of your way to visit this Edgemont cafe.
I do enjoy sitting in here sometimes because it's usually a little quieter and a little more traditional. They serve your basic coffees and latte's, pastries and deserts. The service is always very friendly, but it really should be judging by their name!
I find Friends a better coffee shop to sit in than Starbucks because it's a little more personal and intimate. I feel like I could just strike up a conversation with anyone who's in there, employees or not, because I feel the atmosphere is pleasant and sociable.
The prices in Friends don't vary that much from your chain coffee shops. You may be paying a couple more cents than regular, but they've got to keep their business alive somehow. I actually will go out of my way to visit Friends, even if I'm not in the area!
