| - I suppose my trip to Vegas would not have been complete without riding the High Roller. The cost for an adult night ticket purchased as the counter was $37/person (you can apparently save money if you buy the tickets online). The view (as one might imagine) was quite nice, and the ride was a great way to kill half an hour. The seats are not too comfortable inside the pods, but it's kind of a moot point, as you really need to be standing to properly enjoy the view. My companion and I shared the pod with a few nice strangers from Wisconsin.
The TVs inside the pods provide helpful information during the ride, as elapsed time, current elevation, and statistical information (28 minutes to complete 1 revolution, 1ft/second wheel revolution speed, maximum elevation of 550ft, etc.). As far as parking options go, I was able to find a free curb spot in the adjacent parking area without too much difficulty. The staff was pretty friendly from what I remember.
All in all, I do recommend taking a ride aboard the High Roller if you've never been on it.
