| - I'm glad I wasn't in a rush today because it took 10min for me to get my hot chocolate and there was only one customer ahead of me. I stopped in for the February YYC Hot Chocolate Fest beverage they are serving for this competition/fundraiser. I'm always happy to try something novel and the hot chocolate, referred to as Autumn Breeze on my receipt, was made with blue whipped cream and yummy spices. I wish the serving would have been larger and sweeter, but it was filling nonetheless and I'd rate it 3/5. I certainly paid more than enough for what I got.
I decided to be brave and also try the Bling Pops, which are small, solid milk chocolate pops covered in edible glitter. They look a little scary for consumption and pose as a potentially small glitter disaster, but it all works out okay if you put the entire thing in your mouth right away, which I did not. I bit into it and just as I expected, I had sparkly lips. It didn't seem to affect the rest of my mouth though so you don't have to worry about smiling and coming across as some weirdo. Just do a check in the mirror and the mess, if you have one, is cleaned up quickly. The Bling Pops glitter layer is thin and they too are pricey. Again, it's a novel treat that I won't be purchasing twice.
