I have spent tens of thousands of dollars on my teeth over last 40 years. Crowns, root canals, cosmetic work ( ie Veneers) etc, so I am no stranger to the dentist chair. I moved here from Houston a year ago and needed to find a new dentist. I live close by and decided to try them as I was experiencing tooth pain. One of the dentists there told me I needed a root canal on a tooth that wasn't the tooth I had pain in. I told her that wasn't the tooth that the pain was in, but she took an X-ray and was adamant that the tooth I had pain in was fine, it was the tooth next to it that was the problem. She scheduled a root canal with their specialist for a week later but the next day the pain was so bad I went to another dentist and sure enough she diagnosed the wrong tooth. Totally inexcusable. I called the office and wanted to tell the dentist (Dr. Mitchell)who owned the practice what happened (rather than write a bad review) but he never called back. Modern Dentistry is like a chain of stores. You find them in shopping centers. Luckily I went to another dentist or they would have done a root canal on a perfectly healthy tooth! I do not recommend.
