| - Wash Tub Laundromat is located near the intersection of Decatur and Spring Mountain Drive. You will find it just west of the SF Las Vegas Supermarket. It can be a bit tough to spot from the first time as it is off from the road a bit and hidden behind a Japanese BBQ spot.
I wavered between 2 or 3 stars for this place. It pretty much is what it is. It is a small, and somewhat dingy, little laundromat in the Chinatown area. I have been in better laundromats, but not by much. I've also been in worse laundromats in some really bad area of other cities. This one falls right in the middle. I wasn't panhandled or anything while I was here, for what that's worth.
The guy who was watching the place was friendly enough and would say Hi.
It was $2.00 for a wash cycle (for 23 minutes) and 25 cents for 6 minutes of dryer time. Again, I only go to laundromats to wash my dogs beds, toys, towels, blankets, etc so all that hair doesn't end up in my new washer and dryer set. lol
Yes, he is spoiled.
Yes, he sheds like a little freaking sasquatch.
I'll probably be back here, strictly due to it's convenient location next to the SF Market and Chinatown business' in general. If you choose to go please keep your expectations realistic and you'll be just fine.
3 stars.
Its A-OK for what it was meant to be.
