  • What an amazing experience we had at Noca the evening of May 2nd. I did significant research on great restaurants to try during our vacation in Scottsdale, and Noca exceeded my already high expectations. This establishment is spot on in every regard. What comes to mind first when I think back on our evening at Noca is the service. That is saying a lot because the food was absolutely outstanding! Our waiter was a really cool guy who was so well informed and passionate about the food and wine he was serving. He was simply best in class. We were also very well taken care of having plates cleared and our water glasses were always full. I have read posts about the owners being present, and they were this night and stopped by to say hello and to thank us for dining with them. Such a friendly vibe overall. The place was buzzing too. We sat outside which was a great experience. We were seated very close to the kitchen so it was fun to see the chef's at work. Everything the kitchen turned out looked delicious. We went to a wine bar for drinks and appetizers before dinner so we did not sample any of the starters. In our party of four we had the halibut, duck breast, pork and a handmade spinach tortellini (which is what I had). We sampled each other's entrees and they were all so so good. The duck really stood out to me as being especially flavorful. For dessert we had the doughnuts which were cute and a chocolate dish (can't remember the specifics). They were also very enjoyable. I recommend Noca to everyone. It was a highlight of our trip and I guarantee when I vacation in Scottsdale again I will be making a reservation!
