  • I was apprehensive about going to Polished because I haven't heard great things, but my Norma salon was booked and I needed to get my nails done for an event. Let me just say that it was the worst gel manicure job I've ever had in my life. The man who did the gel polish must not be a regular because he kept getting polish all over my fingers, then would take all the polish off that finger and try again. He did this about 6 times out of my 10 fingers. The , the top coat he put in was so thick that after I left, they ended up lifting within an hour of leaving. My nails are completely uneven. Also, they reuse the SAME utensils on everyone without cleaning in between. The nail file and cuticle clippers had other people's stuff on it. So gross. I also inquired about getting my eyebrows waxed and he straight up said not to do it because they were busy and he didn't want to do them. WHAT?! It's also ridiculous that they don't let you tip on your card when you pay. They MAKE you pay cash for tip and don't tell you in advance so you're stuck using their ATM and having to pay an extra fee to get cash out to tip. I get that you don't want to "claim" your tips, but I also never ever carry cash and paid an extra $3 in fees to tip for horrible service. DONT GO HERE.
