We stayed 3 nights in august. We have visited Toronto many times but always been accommodated in hotels outside of the downtown core. The lobby is quite busy but the checking in process was fast and courteous. The Delta has 27 floors and there's different elevator for each quarter of floors. Parking is about 30$ a night, which is within the average price range. There is ongoing condominium construction facing the hotel on Gerrard St. It claims to be the tallest residential project in Canada. If you are assign a room facing the construction work, you do get a balcony. The double bed standard room lacks practical space and so does the bathroom. But we didn't care much. The furniture is clean but in need of fresh paint and a flat screen tv monitor. We chose this particular hotel for its geographical advantage. Its about a 30 minutes walk to the waterfront, 5 minutes to the Eaton Center and 20 minutes to Chinatown.
