  • AVOID! I had a reservation for a non-smoking room and they gave me the run around saying they were full and "upgraded" us to a smoking room suite. This room was so putrid it made my fiance extremely nauseous. After much "discussion," they found another room to put us in that wasn't as bad. Upon checkout, I found that my original reservation was canceled and the prices I agreed upon were inflated by 25% (which is not fun when you have a budget set for your trip). I asked about it and then received a snippy comment from the guy behind the counter and said to call his manager if I had an issue. And then he slammed the business card down in front of me. I'm contacting Best Western right now to see about their company policies regarding pricing, room switching, and dishonesty.
