  • We've been coming to this zoo for as long as we've lived in Wisconsin. Love it! It may not be able to compete with the major zoos in the country but when you consider this is a free zoo you'd be amazed at the variety of animals they house. They hit all the right notes, with all the animals that kids want to see-lions, tigers Giraffes, rhinos, bears, monkeys, etc. but it's still small enough to see most everything in just a few hours. All the staff there are very friendly and seem very knowledgeable about the animals in the zoo. This is a must do of you fond yourself in Madison.
