Great patient care because the nurse to patient staffing ratio is better than most Valley hospitals.
Only 2 complaints. My husband was on the telemetry floor due to blood clots in his lungs and was never able to get any sleep at night because just as he would start to fall asleep, someone would blast an announcement on the speakers in the all the rooms to have one of the staff to return to the nurses station. The second complaint is when my daughter had her baby there. The labor and delivery suite was large and the nursing staff was awesome, but the post partum (after delivery) room was very small, dated and the staffing was more like a medical surgical floor.
One real plus is how the ER is managed. Chest pain, trauma and other true emergencies have a fast track system that is efficient and effective. Again, the nursing staffing in the ER is far better than many Valley hospitals.
