My wife and I decided to try this place out one sunday morning a little while back for breakfast. Fully expecting to have a wait ahead of us we decided anyway to give it a shot based on what we had heard from friends. As we arrived we saw the large crowd that was waiting to be seated yet saw an empty patio and thought "well hell its 75 degrees out, why don't we just sit outside". Once we were able to squeeze our way up to the hostess counter to place our name on the list and asked if outside seating were available we were told that they don't take requests. I was a little perplexed as to what that meant and was informed that they let people choose inside or outside seating once there name is called. The wait was 45 minutes which bothered me seeing an empty outside patio yet packed inside but my wife, being my calm, level headed better half told me to me just calm down and that every place we would go to would have a wait anyway so since we are here we should just tough it out. We proceeded to wait 45 minutes and not once did anyone go sit outside. Once our name was called, we asked the server if we could sit outside and we were told that the patio was closed....The dining room was pretty loud being such a small space with a lot of people and it didn't make sense as to why the patio was closed. They had more then enough staff it appeared, to equip the 4 tables outside but it was what it was. After all that we ended up sitting down and eating a decent breakfast, not terrible but nothing we couldn't have gotten elsewhere. I had the Loco Moco and my wife had the buttermilk pancakes. The pancakes I tried were good but nothing I would give 5 stars to. The service was lacking a bit in friendliness and overall I am not mad at the place for its weird seating policy or its standard food but mainly just disappointed for what transpired that morning.
