  • From day one, hands down the worst car dealership in Charlotte. When I went to buy this car I should have left when I heard a Manager scream at one of his older salesman, apparently reminding him that "he ran this damn dealership"! And when I say scream, I mean I could clearly hear him from the farthest part of the showroom. But, I stayed for some odd reason. When purchasing the car, it felt like I was in a over dramatized commercial about how scummy car dealerships are! The "deal" they brought was bordering ridiculous. I started to walk away and they brought in at least 3, "managers" to try to counter my initial offer. I ended up leaving and for the next 3 days I went back and forth via text with the salesman. He kept threatening that someone else in SC wanted to buy it, it was the very last offer, ect, ect.... I called every Toyota dealership in and around Charlotte and no one had this particular model with the options we wanted. We finally agreed of the 8th "final offer" and purchased the car. So it's over and we move on, right? NOPE! They screwed up the paperwork 3 times and wanted us to resign form and form. And seemed to get offended when I gave them push back on having to stop by over and over again. Please, for the love of God! Stay away from this place unless you want to see what a terrible car buying experience is like. So now on to service afterwards. Very first oil change on a brand new vehicle. Everything seemingly went well while there. We left and enjoyed our vehicle with no issues. Until about a month later while on a trip to Ohio and I accidentally unlatched the hood instead of the fuel door. As I went to close the hood something caught my eye.... The image of burnt oil covering the engine and a oil cap missing from the engine. I did find the cap, behind the weather strip below the windshield. It appears that when changing the oil someone forgot to put the oil cap back on. Luckily, somehow it didn't damage the engine. The dealership flushed the oil and cleaned the engine. They apologized and made it right so I moved on. The next oil change and tire rotation. Again, everything seemed to go fine. When checking out the service advisor told my wife that the "tires were feathering" and needed to be aligned. It surprised me having to need that at 19k miles and although I don't know what kind of rough driving we'd be doing with a mini van, I made an appointment 3 days later to get it done. On my way to the dealership I decided to take it to. Goodyear store and ask them to check it out. They put it on the machine and turns out that it didn't need an alignment and they didn't see feathering on any of the tires. The Goodyear store didn't charge me anything. So was Scott Clarks trying to scam me out of money? Or are they incompetent? Who knows! I do know one thing for sure, never again will I have ANY relationship with that dealership and ANY form or fashion. I'm done!
