This review is for the purchase of street motorcycle as a first-time rider on Saturday afternoon. I initally shopped around and called for the best out-the-door price. I still needed to check out the bike itself and the sales rep was very helpful in having me identify how the bike fits and the pros and cons of the bike I was looking at. We got right down to pricing (I work in finance) and the sales guy provided an immediate counter offer that was $200 lower. He went to discuss with the finance manager and confirmed that he could offer $150 lower than their competitor. I corrected this amount but he argued that he did not commit to a $200 lower price. He then added that he was only making $100 commission off of this bike. I found that horribly tacky and unprofessional. He went back to the finance manager and confirmed they could lower by $200. I was ready to get the paperwork started (as I had pre-approved previously through Honda's website) but their computer system was down. As we discussed how much of a deposit I was willing to put down, the sales guy again interjected to the finance manager that the deposit was going to be credited to his commission...right in front of us. I was looking for the best deal on paper so I let it slide but I found his comments irritating. We agreed to follow-up the following Tuesday (they're closed Sundays and Mondays FYI). By Tuesday morning their computers were still down. Late Tuesday morning I received a call that their systems were back up. Randy was funny and got my paperwork done in less than 15 minutes! I was able to have the bike delivered immediately to my house for $30. All in all, I was pleased with the financing terms and how effiiciently the process went once their system was up and running. My only complaint that they could've controlled is the tact and professionalism of their sales staff as I am also in sales and finance.
