  • We'be probably gone to this CoCo location for a pearl milk tea about once a week for a while now. The staff are always really nice and the lineup is not too bad. Note:We always get the pearl milk tea with 30% sugar and no ice, and we regularly go to other CoCos in the GTA. For the first few months we went, it tasted absolutely amazing - chewy texture of tapioca and a perfect balance of milk, black tea, and sugar. In recent weeks, it's tasted very watered down. When we asked about it, the staff explained that when there is no ice, they add extra black tea at the end to fill the drink to the top - resulting in a pearl milk tea that is less milky and less sweet, and more watery tasting. I noticed that other CoCo locations add more of the milk tea in a pitcher to fill the top at the end instead of adding black tea. I know this is a small issue - but it's changed the taste completely and I no longer go to this location for Pearl Milk Tea. Other drinks I've tried are perfect though!
