I went in for a CT scan, asked the main CT operator on duty about the radiation. To my great surprise, she had no clue at all what level of radiation I might get exposed to during a standard skull scan. In fact she could give me no idea, even a general estimate, as to how much radiation the machine will expose any patient to. She actually suggested I "go talk to a physicist" if I wanted to know how much radiation the machine might output during my procedure.
I couldn't believe her flippant attitude and lack of vital knowledge on the machine she operated.
The danger is she might be over-exposing patients if she doesn't know the difference between too much radiation and too little. If you value your safety, don't even think about having a CT or X-ray here.
