Bought used 2012 Civic but it is a dealership and therefore everyone you meet is a "manager" of something. Sales Manager, Finance Manager or whatever fancy title they can dream up. Either way, everyone was friendly and I was even greeted at the front door. Negotiations were fairly smooth and I opted for pre-approval before I came in. My sale was fairly quick, starting at around 10:00am until delivery at around 7:30pm. In my particular case the deal was pre-approved but because we switched the date of payments it took the bank over 1.5hrs to re-approve the new deal so no fault of the dealership. The guys in delivery were excellent, and friendly and I might end up calling them regarding how the car starter features really work on a manual transmission car.
Dealership was clean and fairly professional but could of given me a better deal on the tires. The car had been sitting on the lot since February and manual transmission cars are hard to sell, so instead of hardballing me into paying $150 (which I ended up negotiating) for all season tires, they were installed and balanced a couple days later at no cost. Lines like "Well these are already at cost.. I can't go any lower" are sales tactic bullshit lines that being in sales myself, I know your making a killing off the car anyways. It is ironic that I am also a sales professional but being put in the same environment just makes me cringe at times.
At any rate, after the deal is done the service and people afterwards are very friendly and accommodating and I would recommend your next car buying experience here.
