Went with a few friends last night. Walked up to a sign on the door that they were out of a lot of stuff. We knew we wouldn't be able to order our usuals. Of course, we all changed our orders because they were out of the ice cream. Our friends were rung up right before us and the guy charged them $1.76 for a Like It. He said "oh well you shouldn't have to pay full price for ice cream you didn't want". I thought that was very kind of him - good customer service. We get rung up by another guy and he charges us full price! Mind you, I have no problem paying full price for things, but I found it odd and inconsistent that he charge us full price while our friends got a discount. I asked them why we didn't get a discount "for ice cream [we] didn't want" either. The guy ringing us up didn't say anything and shrugged. I told them that if you're going to offer discounts at least be fair and consistent, especially if people know that others are getting discounted.
