| - Sunnie was very personable and definitely a delightful person to talk to while getting my lashes done, which is why it is so hard for me to write a negative review. Unfortunately, the overall quality of her work done on me was far below mediocre.
Went in on a Friday to have my lashes done for the first time for my birthday vacay, which I told Sunnie about. Told her I wanted to try lash extensions for the purpose that many informed me on their low maintenance; she confirmed that they were easy to take care of, and you were able to wear makeup with them after 6 hours. She took about an hour total to do a full set which I thought was done in an amazing time frame! Immediately I loved the look and was very satisfied. Sunnie then instructed me how to clean my lashes, advised me not to use any oil-based makeup remover, and gave me a little brush to comb any misplaced lashes.
Upon waking up the next day, (nearly 12+ hours later) I gently cleaned my lashes with little water for the first time as instructed, and used the comb to set the misplaced lashes. As I was in the "cleaning process", a few of the lashes easily stuck onto the brush. I was quite shocked because I recalled that Sunnie informed me that the lashes would not fall out, and should last for nearly 2 weeks before a fill is required; mind you, lashes are falling out the day after!
Anyway, that was the first account. Later that evening when I was showering, I gently patted my lashes (as INSTRUCTED) and now 4-5 lashes were stuck onto my fingertips. The next day it just got worst, and each time I would attempt to clean them, it made me nervous to see how many lashes I would find. Literally by the 3rd day my right eyelash set was noticeably less than my left, I didn't even want them on my eyes anymore. I was very upset Bc I was already on vacation and didn't want to have to stress about this. I tried to text Sunnie, but there was no response. I understand that she may not text her clients, and may prefer a phone call, but I figured that it would be pointless to call and complain when I am not even in town and wouldn't be back for another week.
Verdict: The lash set had entirely fallen off before my vacation ended..in total, the lashes lasted less than a week and started falling out the day after I got them done. I am very disappointed, esp Bc I really liked Sunnie but just can't believe the poor experience I encountered with her lash service :(
