  • This is a review for the Hotel. Bottom Line: nice room, dirty/stinky halls. Pros: Can't beat the price. We must have had one of the updated rooms previous reviewers mentioned because it was actually better than expected. Great location a block off mid-strip (think Bellagio). The free growler of beer is a nice "welcome." The shared casino next door wins good reviews for cheap eats and hospitality. Cons: Lobby feels like a dorm TV lounge. Hallways smell and the carpet is one big stain. There was hair in our sink, the shower/tub was so slippery I realized the grab bar was there for a reason (no joke - save your hip and step gingerly), and towels were mismatched and scratchy. Coffee maker super small. The parking lot in the back is shared with a taxi service and the drivers I encountered were surly. If you are a budget traveller, and plan to spend most of your time away from your room, don't overlook this option. If you like amenities, and prefer to think of your lodging as a home away from home, best keep looking.
