  • We went on a Sunday night at around 10 pm and we were surprised to find this place jumping with activity. You sign your party in at the podium in front and wait to be seated, which only took around 5 minutes as they were cleaning off tables. We informed the server that it was our first time there and he didn't really say too much, so we ordered some jasmine tea and Vietnamese egg rolls as we were still deciding what we wanted for main dishes. The egg rolls come on a plate full of different greens and some julienne carrots. As earlier stated, the place was jumping and our server was kind of running around, so we asked the guy who brought out the rolls how to eat them incorporating the greens. He said that you more or less make egg roll wraps, using the assorted greens and some provided sweet n sour sauce. My wife loved the taste of the wrap, but I preferred the egg roll just as it was with the sauce and some chili oil. After around 20 minutes or so, our server returned to take our order. Once again we mentioned that it was our first time, and he then proceeded to give us some suggestions from the menu. I ordered the #10 pho, which was a noodle soup with different types of beef. My wife ordered the #29, an udon noodle soup with pork and shrimp. I also ordered another side of noodles and a side order of grilled pork. After a short wait, we were served big bowls of piping hot noodle soup, along with our sides. In one word....YUM!! The soups were outstanding and the grilled pork was excellent! The soups were accompanied by a plate of bean spouts, lime, thinly sliced jalapeños, and a few fresh herbs. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for some inexpensive authentic Vietnamese pho. I only give it a 4 because it is a bit loud, the service was a tad slow, and the jasmine tea was unsweetened (expected it to be honey sweetened like other places). Other than that, it's cheap, open until 3am, and it's delicious!! Happy dining everyone!!
