| - There are two things I could not live comfortably without, one being a label maker, and two being plastic containers.
I probably own more than 50 plastic bins of assorted sizes. Unfortunately, the ones I've purchased from TCS are usually twice the price of Sterelite, and 1/2 the quality. TCS containers are strange in that they're narrow and long, rather than a rectangle with a 3:4 ratio, which makes packing them more difficult (unless everything you pack is narrow). Because they're so long, they didn't fit on my patio storage closet, so I gave them to my parents.
TCS containers yellow and become brittle over time. LIke many of their products, they're very expensive and of poor construction. Frankly, the quality is so poor, I wonder how this place stays in business. Their laundry hampers are so lightweight as to render them useless. Their kitchen carts are astronomically priced (but at least you can fold them when you're done with them.)
In general, if you're serious about organizing, as I am, you can have a quality, useable, matching, organized house for a fraction of what you'd pay if you purchased everything at TCS.
