  • I was by myself, traveling for work, and wanted to go someplace that had Wi-Fi and a quiet place to get some work done and kill time before heading to the airport. I get so sick of the cookie-cutter, same-everywhere-you-go cafes. I saw this place on Yelp and thought it looked interesting. I wish I lived nearby so that I could frequent this place often. I love the kitschy decor throughout and beautiful outdoor patio seating. Even the bathroom had an eclectic motif going. As I write, I'm sitting at a dining room table, working. I feel like I'm home, but with better coffee! The decor aside, the food and drinks were very good, too. I had an iced mocha and an iced tea (I had a long time to wait.) I also had a turkey sandwich with raspberry chipotle dressing that was fresh and tasty. The gentleman who served me was also very friendly. All in all, next time I'm back in Mesa, I know where I'll be heading back here!
