  • Excellent vegan food for this wall to wall meat locker that is Pittsburgh. Spak Brothers has a mix of vegan and non-vegetarian food on their menu (including wings, sandwiches, and pizzas) which is great because it is still difficult to find alternative proteins available in Pittsburgh restaurants at this time. The seitan Philly sub is amazing--I will go back again for that one. The seitan wings were good too but were too fried and greasy for my taste. They also have a variety of colas (grape, cherry, ginger, root beer, Pennsylvania Punch) to sip on too. The service is walk up and there are a handful of bar stools around the room if you want to eat in. Toss in a couple of pinball machines and a multi-game tabletop video game (including Donkey Kong), and you have yourself a fun night ahead of you. The people working were super friendly and very helpful too.
