  • First, I'll start with the good. The three cheese Mac was really tasty. My Bells Two Hearted ale was awesome. Okay, I'm done with the good. The service was some of the worst I've ever had. I can't blame the waiter 100 percent. He looked like he was working hard, but when you place a drink or food order, you don't go to other tables and take orders before you put ours in. We waited long lengths of time for almost everything. We were a party of 8, so you expect it to take longer with larger parties, but we were there almost 3 hours. They seemed very under staffed. Finally got our dinner and two of the orders were wrong. Everyone was done eating by the time their food finally came. No manager ever came to the table to apologize and nothing was offered for the major inconvenience. I'm sorry, any reputable establishment would have comp'd the meal, or offered something. I don't even think I've ever been to a restaurant where a manager doesn't come and and ask how your dining experience was going. Apparently, that isn't important at Sullivan's. Never even saw a manager to talk to. The food overall was only mediocre, so you can't even say it was worth it, because of the cheaper pricing of restaurant week. I can tolerate mediocre food but not poor management. Needless to say, there are so many good places to eat in Charlotte, there is no reason to ever come back here.
