the minute we sat down we were presented with a taste of lovely prosecco and a corn bread amuse bouche with some divine butter on top. a friend ordered a bloody mary with "very nice garnishes" which turned out to be a vodka sidecar. yasssss. at this point we were ready to move in.
i got a dressed up pasta dish with duck and beemster cheese that was great.
not food related, but when we were visiting they had a portion of arthur o'shaughnessy's ode poem on the website. this place had my heart before i even entered.
