  • Hmmm, REI branded Nalgene water bottle fell off table at work and cracked. I own several Nalgene bottles and have never had one break so this one was obviously defective. I took it back to REI and the cashier basically told me I did something negligent and was trying to rip them off. Then she arrogantly said ; "here you go" and handed the bottle back to me. Ended up having to pay another $12.43 for a new bottle. Hopefully, this new bottle isn't defective and doesn't crack from a 2 foot drop off a table with 14oz of water. Guess, being a member doesn't amount for much anymore.
