I love this pub. It's got multiple rooms upstairs and downstairs, so a cozy spot can be found for just about anything. More like a traditional English/Irish style public house than an American pub, Hurley's has a low-key homey, cozy feel most of the time, and it cranks it up a notch on Friday and Saturday nights. There's live music most weekend nights, great storytelling on Sunday nights, and the hockey games on the screen behind the bars. There's a great couch and fireplace area upstairs that is usually hard to get. Downstairs there are tables for large groups. The craic at this place can't be beat.
The only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 is that the food is rather unremarkable standard pub fare. But if you're looking for a place to go with friends for a pint (or three...), then Hurley's can't be beat.
