  • I went to the E.R. here today for some *ahem* lady issues (albeit serious ones) and was less than impressed with the staff. The hospital itself is clean as a whistle and seemed state-of-the-art. I was there for 5 hours for one papsmear. The nurses were cold and impersonal...at one point the nurse told me i was being moved to a different room for the procedure and proceeded to stare at me when I didn't move. I was hooked up to an iv. I guess she expected me to get up, tie my gown up, remove my own fluid bag from it's hook, and carry all my personal items. All this while I'm in intense physical pain and in tears. The only person there who earned this place 3 stars is my other nurse, Amy. She took the time to explain everything to me and even joked around with me a bit. All of the fancy equipment and a multi-Million dollar building cannot make up for poor service.
