  • Westcor SanTan Village hosted a benefit event last night called "Taste of San Tan". The live entertainment included Dueling pianos, outstanding Stomp Performance's, Gals and Guys modeling Macy's and banana republic clothing, and a silent auction. The entry fee included 3 drink coupons and the two options were beer from Gordon Biersch or wine. The beer line was busy the entire night. This nice older gentlemen as he was leaving gave the guy that was at our table 3 drinks coupons and he was nice enough to share one with Mr H, so he now had a total of 4 drink coupons..lol Wow! and the mini samples from the local restaurants included: Brio, Cantina Laredo, grimaldi's, kona grill, Blue Wasabi, Red Robin's gourmet burger, The Keg, Johnny Rockets, Paradise bakery chipper cookies and coffee! My fave foodie tasting was from Cantina Laredo which consisted a sample of chicken, cute beef taquito, and for dessert a churro with raspberry sauce. We met lots of cool peeps, and the entertainment was outstanding. The price was $35.00 and and the best part that all proceeds benefit Save the Family, an organization that help homeless families break cycles of poverty, and homelessness.
