  • For Bay Area California transplants this is a knock off of REI, right down to the membership...But unlike REI, I didn't see any mention of receiving a cash rebate at year end. Spendy but not sure where else one shops for outdoor gear. Only thing that could make it better: a dug out canoe/bar set up with a solar powered blender and dixie cup cocktails sporting a salted rim. This might take the sting off of the check out experience, or at least dull the pain of pulling out my credit card here. FYI...no AMEX taken.
