  • The Gilded Girl is one of my versions of heaven! Finding myself in Pittsburgh, I needed to check out this lovely shop that had been featured on news media as a "must visit" for cosmetic fanatics. Upon entering, I could see that this was worthy praise. The store is beautifully decorated with antique dressers, crystal chandeliers, and delicate knickknacks that transport you to luxe boudoir. I was looking for a couple products that day, and I was helped to find items that matched my skin tone and needs. I couldn't resist picking up a few Christmas stocking-stuffers, as well. Overall, the Gilded Girl is a fun stop for makeup and beauty product gluttons (such as myself), and/or those looking to purchase girly gifts of delicious soaps, nail stamps, neatly decorated containers, and the like! Enjoy, ladies!!
