rev:text	My wife and I went here for our anniversary dinner, which happened to also be during restaurant week. When I was looking for places to go, I looked at the special menu for restaurant week and it looked incredible. When we got there we were greeted and sat promptly. The place was busy, which makes the time it took for the server to come and greet us understandable. The service was good for how busy it was. Now on to the food. Again, the food on the restaurant week menu sounded good, but the execution on the flavors was lacking. We had the salad, which was quite good, and we had the dates wrapped in bacon. These were good, but the bacon was limp and it seemed liked they just threw the items on the plate. On to the second course, we had the short ribs and scallops. The scallops were amazing and perfectly cooked. The short rib tasted like a basic pot roast and really didn't have much flavor and the gnocchi were gritty and over cooked. The third course was excellent. We tried both items - the white chocolate blue berry creme brulee and the salted caramel oreo bar. The espresso ice cream on the oreo bar was outstanding and the lemon snicker doodle on the creme brulee were amazing. After we finished as much as we could of the desert, we were brought out a surprise anniversary cake, which we had to take home as were too full. The cake was moist and flavorful when we ate it the next day. When all is said and done, they brought out some cotton candy. This seems like an overload on sugar and I am confused as to why they would bring out the cotton candy if we already had dessert. All in all, it was an okay experience.
